TravisLee was born and grew up in Lubbock Texas, the hometown of great songwriters such as Buddy Holly, Mac Davis, and Joe Ely, just to name a few. Coming from a musical family of gifted Musicians, Songwriters, and Music Teachers. It was no surprise when he decided Music was for him as well.
He picked up a Bass Guitar after a request from a school mate, who played Guitar a little better than him and wanted to start a band.
Nobel Fury as they were called, had some local success and and even managed to Record one song "We Are Nobel Fury" in a Recording Studio,and countless home made tapes, although never finding a dedicated Singer. The band disbanded after Guitarist George Theron Wise moved to Nashville and TravisLee moved to Austin in 1990.
In Austin Texas, TravisLee continued to play Bass for many bands such as LZT, Bio Spooge, No Ones Hero, Dracula Moon,and countless others. While at the same time found the local Access Television Channel and became a Music Television producer. Producing "WakeNBake" and "Video Anarchy" and eventually was hired on permanently( Some what killing his Bass Playing dream)
He joined forces with Videographer and Musical Historian, Hank Sinatra and Produced "Echo in Austin" and "Echo TV"
2008-2011 TravisLee has put down the Bass, Put down the Video Camera, picked up the Guitar and Microphone, and started writing songs.
